OVNI 36 Year 1992
Ordered to Alubat shipyard by the actual owner, this modified OVNI 36 was delivered in 1992. This was the dream of a sailor life and owner and boat sailed the Atlantic for 25 years. The owner is getting older and is having another OVNI built, more comfortable and spacious to welcome friends and family for long cruises. He reluctantly puts on sale reliable "Totor", as he nicknames the boat, which he has been taking great care of all those years. The engine just ran 1800h and starts straight away, the original standing rigging (except 2017 stay) is being regularly checked and painting and elm joinery are remarkable. To be seen!
Owner's words
I chose this very nice hull design proposed by Alubat shipyard, but I also had my own ideas and we worked together to design "my" boat. The roof front part has been shortened to get a flat deck ahead the mast, for both esthetic and safety criteria. The interior design went modified with a larger saloon and a more little forecabin. The boat is to be handled as two or solo, but it is also possible to invite friends and family onboard. As my plan is to have an active retirement time at sea, I ordered a new boat to Alubat, bigger and more spacious, to sail further away with friends or family. I reluctantly put my loyal "Totor" on sale and I hope there will be new passionate owners.
