BAVARIA 45 Cruiser Year 2011159 800 € VAT paid
Designed by the Bruce Farr design agency and really well built by Bavaria, the 45 Cruiser is reknown for her hability to sail far, comfortably and safely. The average speeds are good due to the hull with tense lines and shapes and a bulb-keel at 2.10m. Comfort throughout with a nice modern saloon, 3 cabins with private bathrooms including a very comfortable forward owner's ensuite cabin. Lockers everywhere outside and inside and all the comfort equipments to sail far: watermaker, generator set, solar panels, electronics... she is ready to go again after a two years Atlantic circuit with friends aboard.
I stopped working in 2016 and started looking for the sailboat to accomplish my project to turn around the Atlantic with good friends. I have been looking at several ships from the French builders, looking for the best quality. I think I found exactly what I was looking for with this Bavaria 45 Cruiser. There is some space inside and outside, with a serious maintenance and equipment, and the ship had never been chartered. In the program I planned, we had to have 3 cabins for our wives to come and join us once on the other side of the Ocean. The ship has been perfect for all those points and she is both comfortable at sea and at anchor with the huge aft platform to bath or to be used as a dinghy docking area. I would keep this ship for me, but a smaller one will be enough to get me to the islands, this one has to sail far.
