CATAMARAN 51' Year 2001
Designed by Michel JOUBERT and Bernard NIVELT, built at the HERVE yard in La Rochelle using strip planking, this catamaran preferred a high pod, weights centering and flowing lines to an access from the saloon to the hulls. She is very seaworthy, turned around the world under the name of "Jangada" and then, around the atlantic with her curent owner's family. She has been seriously prepared with recent and complete equipments before she go and sail. Comfortable, secure and self-sufficient, this ship can also be fast. Unique on the used boats market!
Owner's words
I have been looking for a safe, very seaworthy and fast multihull on the used boats market. The "Jangada" stories about her travel around the world decided me she will be the boat to replace our Gib Sea 52 Master. I added a genset, a new synthetic teak and a few tunings and then we saild to the Venezuela. Unfortunately, my family would prefer to stay on the hard so we decided to sell our nice catamaran.
