CCYD 75' Polar Ketch Year 1979465 000 € VAT paid
Built in 1979 at the CCYD shipyard in Venezia, Italia, this large CorTen steel round bilged ketch displays all the requirements for a polar expeditions sailboat. Wheelhouse, large deck saloon with a convenient galley, chart table and bookshelves, wet locker etc... The 12 beds are splitted in 6 cabins with numerous lockers, including a huge owner's cabin with its private bathroom and also a bunk beds one for two crew members. It is very natural to move inside and outside and the volumes are the ones we wait for in such a serious ship. On the deck, the helmsman's cockpit is separated from the guests cockpit. The ketch rigging was designed and installed in 2014 for a short handed crew.
Owner's words
After we operated this polar ketch during the past 10 years, we decided to let someone else take care of her and we head at new projects. This large sailboat was completely refitted between 2013 and 2014 (18 months of works), made more reliable and and better all over, displays 6 double cabins to welcome 10 guests and 2 crews in very comfortable conditions. In the pas few years, the Mar Y Pôles has been sailing in the most remote destinations during complete seasons (Spitzberg, Norway, Iceland but also in the Antarctic. The ship was specifically refitted to stand this particular environment so she is really dedicated to those remote destinations. She will be the perfect ship for you cruising and charter activities or for your next polar travel.
