CROZET B Year 2010320 000 € VAT paid
Designed and built by Jean-François ANDRE: tailor-made for long voyages. Cold, hot, canals, large lakes, he knows how to do it all, and has already proved it over ten years in all sea and canal conditions. The 5083 aluminium hull was designed and built only once, and magnificently fitted out in Blond Oak and Sipo by François ERIEAU. This full-featured river and ocean-going centerboarder with interior wheelhouse has two double cabins, two bathrooms and all the comforts necessary for life aboard on a long voyage for two or a family. When dismasted, she becomes an efficient, comfortable (insulated) river boat, solid in lock passages.
Owner's words
After a steel sailboat, another in aluminum (a Maracuja), we decided that the next one, the last one, would be a condensed version of the experience we'd acquired during all our cruising, adapted to both hot and cold weather, seaworthy, but also capable of going on rivers efficiently, user-friendly, practical and, above all, very safe. After a great deal of research, and some major setbacks (the first project was stopped...), we met Jean-François ANDRE, who proposed a wheelhouse version of one of his designs, the Crozet. The general definition was ideal, the interior volumes interesting, so we started to work on the final details with him and finally arrived at the desired result: a solid, twin-engine centerboarder, easy to maintain and very pleasant to live with.
