DUFOUR 42 PRESTIGE Year 1990
Beautiful 3 cabin cutter built by Dufour on Sparkman & Stephens plan. Carefully maintained by her owners, this boat is a quality model in exemplary condition! Very nice Burmese teak woodwork, one of the 3 toilets has been modified into a very practical storage. Fully equipped for short-handed cruising, many new elements (including the engine), a nice sail plan, bowsprit and efficient deck plan... She is fully equipped and ready to go. A boat with a sensational steering feel and a solid stiffness... Beware, she makes you want to sail!
Owner's words
This Dufour 42 designed by Sparkman & Stephens seduced us by its beauty, the quality of its construction and its interior fittings in blond Burmese teak. Her large draught offers very good performance. Pleasant to steer, she has a good seaworthy behaviour upwind. She is a fast and safe boat that we have just finished equipping for the long journey. Unfortunately we have to part with her for health reasons. We wish the future owners a lot of pleasant and comfortable sailing.
