UNIVERSAL YACHTING 49.9 Year 2003
Designed by the Fauroux group with and for an experienced owner, and produced by Universal Yachting France. She features twin keels and rudders, allowing her to explore shallow anchorages and to stand unsupported for drying out when the occasion arises. Her hull is insulated and she is heated for those wishing to explore the higher latitudes. Alexandre Thiriat designed a wild cherry wood interior, set off by a white background, very functional for long cruises. Three staterooms allow permanent accommodation for five. Her navigation area features a navigator chair offset 45 degrees to be comfortable on either tack. First hand boat, never chartered. Taxes paid in New Caledonia.
Owner's words
We have been sailing during 8 years with this UY49.9, from Nice - France to Atlantic, then Pacific to the cristal clear water of New Caledonia. Our sail boat is now for sale. Whatever the sea conditions we found, we always felt confident and totally secure. We wish her new owners to feel as much pleasure as we had on this boat with our friends or family.
