BOREAL 47 Year 2017
The creations of the Boreal shipyard have proven their nautical capabilities by taking families all around the world to sunny or icy destinations from the English Channel to Antarctica. The Boréal 47, elected sailboat of the year 2018 in the USA is a successful evolution of the Boréal 44, "sailboat of the year 2010" in France and; in 2011 in the Netherlands. The Boréal 47 takes over the hull of the 44 by offering a more direct access to the sea and large storage lockers. The chines having been extended, it offers greater dynamic buoyancy allowing it to smoothen the movements of the boat and lengthen the stride.
In perfect condition, this unit is like new.
Owner's words
I had my boat built by the Boréal shipyard while I was working on the supervision of an oil platform in South Korea. My project was to set off on a long circumnavigation of the world. I wanted to have a boat that was both solid and safe, well insulated and capable of a good daily average to take me everywhere, both in the heat and in the cold.
I chose the Boréal 47, which gave me easier access to the sea, especially for diving. I had many options installed at the construction site, right from the start.
From 2017 to 2019, we sailed well in western France, Spain and Portugal.
My professional projects have evolved, as has my family situation...
This boat is made to travel, I don't want to keep her inactive.
